Spring 2012 Garden

This is my official gardening spot in my back yard. It only holds a few plants in the ground, but I have quite a few more plants in pots, that are near the top of the picture: Here is what I planted last weekend (to take advantage of some lovely rain we were expecting in Texas): 2 tomatoes (Yello Mama and Black Prince), 2 peppers (Early Jalapeno and Pepperoncini), basil, parsley and sage. The tomates and peppers are at this end...and the herbs are mostly at the other end:

The chard and large parsley are overwintered from the fall and are still growing well. There is also some garlic planted in the fall that might be ready to harvest next month.
